The company, headquartered in Pinto, Spain, is a group of companies primarily engaged in the development, construction, and selling of real estate properties. It was incorporated in March 1984. The company, started in the 60's with business in the construction and promotion of real estate. It has constructed approximately 20,000 houses in Pinto, San Martín de la Vega, Ciempozuelos, Getafe, Alcorcón, Móstoles, Aranjuez, Madrid, Guadarrama, Guadalajara, and Huelva. Aside from real estate business, with its growing number of associating companies, the company has expanded its activities to include the distribution of ceramics and sanitary products, hotel and restaurant operation, commercialization of home furniture, architectural and ground management services, and manufacturing of pre-fabricated concrete materials including reinforced concrete. Constructora de Pinto, S.A., created in 1969, is one of the operating companies of Inmobiliaria Egido. It is engaged in the construction of houses primarily in Southern Madrid: Castilla la Mancha, Sierra de Madrid, Madrid Capital and Andalucía.
